There are also riding schools which are renting horses. In the riding schools horses are ready for you to go into nature for a couple of days. You come through woods, dunes and along the beach. Paardrijden op het strand van Egmond is tijdens het badseizoen, van 1 mei tot 1 oktober, vanaf 09.00 uur tot 19.00 uur verboden. Buitenom deze tijden is paardrijden wel toegestaan.
Van 1 oktober tot 1 mei, is paardrijden alleen niet toegestaan op zon- en feestdagen vanaf 12.00 uur tot 19.00 uur. Buitenom deze tijden is paardrijden op het strand wel toegestaan.
Horseback riding at the beach is the most beautiful at low tide, one could gallop to his heart’s content over the wide beach. Please watch carefully at the information signs which are at each beach(entrance) for eventual (temporary) rules.
